About this event

‘There is something to be wondered at in all of Nature’ - Aristotle

UK Mental Health Awareness Week 2021 runs from 10th-16th May. The theme this year is ‘nature’ and we want to recognise this by holding an Inclusive Hallam event with a twist.

Rather than another online zoom event, we're inviting you to take an hour away from your desk to connect with nature in ways that support of your mental health - whether that's in a garden, a local park or trail - anything that involves the great outdoors.

Social distancing measures might mean we can't all be together physically at the moment, but to help create a sense of community and mutual support when it comes to mental health, we'd love you to share any photos, videos, thoughts, or nature-themed poems or other art - whatever inspires you when it comes to nature and the great outdoors.

Please follow government guidelines on things like travel and social distancing e.g. if you decide to invite friends, family or colleagues to join you.
